Build a career in Japan with the Specific Skills Visa
Tokutei Ginou (特定技能) opens 14+ industries to skilled Nepali workers — Shinsei prepares you end-to-end.
Japan's Specific Skills Worker (SSW) visa explained
The Specific Skills Worker (SSW / 特定技能) visa was introduced by the Japanese government in 2019 to address chronic labour shortages in 14+ designated industries. Unlike the Technical Intern Trainee program, SSW is a true employment visa — workers receive the same pay and benefits as Japanese nationals.
To qualify, candidates must pass:
- A Japanese language test (JLPT N4 or JFT-Basic)
- A sector-specific skills test (e.g. Caregiver Skills Test, Food Service Skills Test)
Shinsei JLC trains you for both, then connects you with verified Japanese employers and handles every step of the visa filing.
