Course levels at Shinsei
A strong Japanese journey needs the right level, the right pace, and regular feedback. Shinsei structures classes so students can move from basic communication to JLPT preparation and real-life confidence.
Beginner level
Students learn hiragana, katakana, greetings, numbers, basic verbs, adjectives, particles, and simple conversation. The goal is to build comfort with Japanese sounds and sentence structure.
Elementary level
Students expand vocabulary, learn daily-life grammar, practice short reading passages, and begin listening to natural conversations. This level supports JLPT N5 and N4 preparation.
Intermediate level
Students work on longer sentences, kanji, reading speed, listening accuracy, and practical conversation. This level supports N3 preparation and daily communication in Japan.
Advanced and JLPT focused classes
Advanced students practice complex grammar, formal reading, essay-style passages, and exam strategy for N2 or higher. Mock tests and review sessions help students identify weak points.
Practical communication
Along with textbooks, students practice interviews, self-introductions, school conversations, workplace phrases, and cultural manners.
